2008 Dodge Challenger Review

The year is 1970. The first Earth Day is celebrated the USA and he was the “dawn of the Age of Aquarius”, according to The 5th Dimension. In December of that year, the north tower of World Trade Center was exceeded by 1,368 feet, making it the tallest building in the world.

At Detroit, Mopar was the new word for Chrysler. After the 1969 Dodge Daytona that packed a wallop and scorned, the new Dodge Challenger hit the scene. Curiously, it was the same year that American Motors introduced the Gremlin (April Fools Day) and Ford Pinto introduced to the automotive scene, which the Americans considered the most successful American models of the year. Cadillac: Exclusive Appeal and Function

Cadillac, owned by General Motors, is an exclusive brand name of luxurious automobiles. Much of the assembled units of Cadillac automobiles are distributed in the USA and in Canada, although these are also placed on the market of more than fifty countries. This vehicle brand has come to represent superior craftsmanship and the finest standard in automobile manufacture.

The Cadillac business emerged soon after the company of Henry Ford was closing down due to dissolution. Ford left the company including his chief partners in the business. Upon liquidation of the company assets by the financial supporters of the business, the engineer who evaluated the business machinery and property suggested that they carry on with the business and this same engineer put forward his idea on a new engine. Review: BMW M1 Homage

To mark the 30th anniversary of the BMW M1 super sports car, BMW Group Design presented a tribute to this legendary model last month at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2008. The BMW M1 Tribute concept aims to combine the proportions and graphic themes of the BMW M1 with the surface language of the new BMW look.

CAN attended the event and was impressed by this new concept of the team of Adrian van Hooydonk. In particular, it combines a good balance of new forms, surfaces and graphics with references to the BMW M1 and the BMW Turbo concept. Ferrari California

Ferrari has just published photos of his official California, is expected to be unveiled the Salon de l’Automobile in Paris in October. The new model, which joins the 612 Scaglietti flagship in the Grand Tourer segment, will be available exclusively as a convertible with a folding Hard Top. As for other Ferraris, both the chassis and body are aluminum, but California will be powered by a new front mid-mounted V8 engine for the first mark in its history. Read the rest of this entry »
